Director of Nursing Job Details

Schedule: 5 shifts/week, 8-hour shifts

Unit: Level 4 Operating Room – Director of Nursing

Estimated Weekly Salary Range (Contract): $3,030 - $3,250

Permanent Pay Range: $130,000 - $165,000 annually

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Oklahoma RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred

Minimum 10 years of nursing experience, including significant OR and director-level leadership experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a surgical nursing team

Director of Nursing Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety and quality standards

Lead, develop, and support a team of operating room nurses and clinical staff

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for the OR

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the surgical services department
