Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the commercial vehicle workshop, ensuring efficient and productive workflow
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and maintain professional communication throughout the service process
Monitor labour efficiency, productivity, and workshop performance metrics
Ensure compliance with OEM standards, dealership policies, and health and safety requirements
Manage warranty procedures, claim submissions, and technical authorisations
Control departmental budgets, cost management, and overall profitability
Resolve technical concerns and support diagnostic and repair processes where needed
Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality service standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fleet clients, and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Service Manager within the commercial vehicle sector
Strong technical background in heavy-duty/commercial vehicles
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to manage workshop performance, productivity targets, and high-volume workloads
Solid understanding of warranty processes, diagnostics, and OEM compliance
Experience with dealership management systems
Valid drivers license
