Marine Electrician B-Class

Job Description: Marine Electrician B-Class Pay: $25.75 Sign-On bonus: $1,000 AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Competent in electrical installation.Experienced with knowledge of Termination Skills.Knowledge of detailed Electrical and Mechanical drawings and instructions.Works with a sense of urgency, efficiency and productive out put.Maintains safe work practices and adheres to safety policies and procedures.Ability to meet goals.Ability to work with minimal supervision and be responsible for assuring the quality of the employees own work.Must keep impeccable time keeping and absentee records.Demonstrate correct construction proceduresAbility to work overtime as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:2 years experience in AC/DC Installations or comparable technical education.Experienced level of termination Skills of AC/DC and Control Systems.Sound knowledge in the installation of cabling systems to meet marine class society, Navy and Coast Guard regulations.Interpretations of electrical schematics and documentation.

TOOLS:Basic ability to demonstrate a level of competency in the use of all trade related power tools.

Able to learn safe use of all Power and Hand Tools and Testing Equipment.

Supply own Trade tools to be able to maintain productive output and perform B Class Electrical Duties.

Safety Environmental Factors: All employees are expected to adhere to the companys safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.

Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
