Scope of Responsibility:
The Materials Planning Coordinator is responsible for ensuring material availability to support production plans and product launches, with strong analytical capability and cross-functional interaction. Responsible also for ensuring data accuracy and consistency in production planning processes This role also involves people leadership, focusing on team development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead the materials planning team, fostering technical and behavioral development, providing continuous feedback and development support
Promote a culture of collaboration, engagement and continuous learning
Support the implementation and evolution of digital tools and automation for planning processes
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to enhance visibility and control over planning operations
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of production planning data supporting 100% System Driven Planning and proper governance of planning-related information
Maintain alignment with global planning guidelines and support the implementation of best practices
Coordinate quarterly master data updates such as Safety Stock, MOQ, Lot Size and PDT to maximize efficiencies and minimize inventory cost while increasing service level
Define inventory models, targets, and optimization opportunities.
Analyze production planning KPIs, inventory levels, and capacity constraints to support data-driven decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Network Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Netops, Logistics and External Partners) to optimize planning processes and execute supply network strategies
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing process optimizations
Manage Slob, write-off and scrap projections driving preventive actions
Ensure accuracy in inventory projections and reconciliation
Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field
Solid experience in Planning or Supply Chain roles
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with data, analytics and AI
Advanced English proficiency
Microsoft Office, SAP, Google Collaboration Tools, DOMO and other digital tool
