Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes of all sizes, trimming plastic excess, cutting to specifications, and coiling them into rolls. This role requires the ability to lift 30-40 pounds routinely and to team lift for heavier parts, which can weigh up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Unload drainage pipes and trim excess plastic.

Cut pipes to specification and coil them into rolls.

Lift and maneuver parts weighing up to 100 pounds.

Operate hand and power tools, including sawzall.

Perform general labor and machine operation tasks.Essential Skills

Experience in general labor, production line, or machine operation.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds.

Experience with hand and power tools.

Knowledge of packaging and plastics manufacturing.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous machine operation experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled facility, which can be cold in the summer and hot in the winter. The facility is organized and has recently installed a brand new production line. Please be aware that the space can become cramped when excess scrap plastic is produced. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 2nd shift is 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, and 3rd shift is 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with overtime added as needed, including before or after shifts and every other Saturday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
