Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least one year of MRI experience and ARRT (MRI) certification to perform advanced imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

Work in an outpatient care surgery center setting in the radiology department

Performs a variety of MRI scans including brain, spine, head & neck, chest, musculoskeletal, abdomen, pelvis, whole body, and breast imaging

3x12 hour day shifts: Friday 9:30 AM–10:00 PM, Saturday/Sunday 7:30 AM–8:00 PM

First two weeks of training are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM

Potential to float between nearby locations as needed

May use documentation systems such as Epic or Cerner

Role includes operating and maintaining MRI equipment and collaborating with clinical teams for timely and accurate imaging

Training schedule is provided for the initial two weeks

Strict compliance with Ohio fingerprinting process is required for credentialing

Two professional references required, one must be from a supervisor, manager, or director

Locals are accepted at the same rate

Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees are ineligible as travelers

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience performing MRI procedures

Certification in ARRT (MRI) or equivalent

Current BLS certification required

Proficiency with advanced MRI techniques such as Perfusion and Spectroscopy preferred

Experience with additional modalities (e.g., CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction) preferred

Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR preferred

License required if applicable
