Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York oncology nursing jobs)

Setting: Oncology – Infusion Unit

Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekends/Call: No weekends or call requirements

Start Date: August 4, 2025

End Date: November 3, 2025

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100 - $2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)

Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an Infusion RN (2 years preferred)

Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred

Previous travel nursing experience is a plus

Ability to float between healthcare facilities as needed

BLS certification required

Oncology RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology patients receiving infusion therapy

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments safely and accurately

Monitor oncology patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to complications

Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families about oncology treatment plans, side effects, and self-care

Document all nursing care in accordance with facility policies and healthcare regulatory standards

Float to other units or healthcare facilities as required
