Azure Cloud Architect

This senior position plays a critical role in architecting and designing solutions for highly secure proprietary platforms/systems within the Government Solutions business unit. Responsibilities will range from working on complex systems or project issues to interacting with demanding clients and senior IT leadership. An ability to tailor communication and messaging to appropriate audiences, technical to conceptual, is critical for success.

Additional Duties:

" Work with development teams to provide estimates on tasks with complete timeline of project delivery

" Engage with senior leadership to develop technology strategy and drive implementation of the architecture roadmap

" Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit and integration testing

" Understand desired business outcomes desired by customer and translate these to technical requirements for the solution, and recommend potential options

" Own the overall solution and ensure all components of a solution fit well, function and perform as expected, including availability, performance, and security

" Effectively articulate the solution to both internal stakeholders and customers

Qualifications:

- Prefer experience with leading the migration from legacy (mainframe) platform to Azure cloud platform

- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience

- 10+ years of development/infrastructure experience

- Must be a US Citizen or current Green Card holder

- Expert in emerging technologies

- Strong communication skills - with a focus on the ability to articulate complex solutions to internal stakeholders and the customer

- Possess broad based and in-depth knowledge of complex technologies, tools, methodologies, the enterprise and industry to include Terraform and its use with Azure.

- Strong understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies knowledge to support the needs of critical systems and projects

- Demonstrate strong leadership

- Expertise with multiple languages and tools

A large variety of Azure PaaS platforms
