PACU RN - Mid-Shift

Schedule

This position requires a mid-shift schedule from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, with one night of call per week and three 24-hour weekend call shifts within a 6-week period.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated PACU RN to provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be experienced in post-operative monitoring and care, ensuring a safe and effective recovery process for patients.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients.

Administer medications and manage pain control as per protocols.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Valid nursing license and certification as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Experience in a PACU or similar surgical setting preferred.

Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
