The Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is a leading medical practice in New England, offering a full spectrum of healthcare services through numerous locations across Connecticut and Rhode Island. Our dedicated team includes professionals from Medical Assistants to Physician Assistants, all committed to delivering exceptional healthcare.
You will travel with the Neighborhood Health team, the mobile healthcare initiative designed to bring clinics directly to community locations, ensuring accessible and equitable healthcare for all. Team members gather at satellite offices and travel together in HHC fleet vehicles to provide necessary care within the community.
Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Service Representative, you will:
Welcome patients and assist with their inquiries and registration, creating a positive patient experience.
Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure smooth office operations.
Schedule appointments to provide timely and friendly access to care, meeting patient needs with professionalism.
Respond to incoming communications from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals while adhering to privacy and safety standards.
Drive fleet vehicles to mobile event locations and assist with the transportation of mobile equipment.
Load and unload mobile equipment at event sites and ensure that supplies are properly stocked.
Provide coverage at various satellite locations as needed.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced medical office setting.
Familiarity with Epic systems preferred.
A positive, customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
A valid driver’s license within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Ability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 lbs.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
