Join a dynamic Risk Division and play a key role in managing credit risk across a diverse client lending portfolio and investment counterparties. As an Associate - Client Credit Risk, you’ll contribute to the identification, assessment, and monitoring of credit exposures, ensuring alignment with our credit risk framework and appetite. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise and professional judgment in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct credit risk assessments and financial analysis of clients and counterparties.

Provide borrowing recommendations on new client requests.

Monitor markets and operating environments relevant to our clients.

Establish lending covenants and monitor credit limits.

Prepare credit reports and recommendations aligned with internal policies.

Track credit exposures and portfolio performance, identifying risks and trends.

Build and enhance financial models, databases, and spreadsheets.

Maintain and improve credit assessment tools and systems.

Support regular reporting requirements and participate in projects.

Ensure accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.

Occasional travel within Queensland (primarily SEQ).

About You

Tertiary qualification in commerce, economics, business, finance or related discipline.

3–5 years’ experience in credit, financial analysis, advisory or project finance.

Strong analytical skills and financial modelling expertise.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with credit rating systems and regulatory obligations.

Ability to apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

Progress toward CFA or Master’s qualification.

Experience with Power BI or willingness to learn
