Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care on our dynamic Med/Surg unit. This role primarily involves adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases. You will coordinate and deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care using the Nursing Process to guide clinical decision-making.
You will collaborate closely with an experienced team and serve as a leader during your shift, ensuring patient needs—physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental—are addressed with compassion and clinical excellence. RNs report to the Unit Director and work in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.
Note: This is not a pediatric unit. Do not submit pediatric-only RNs.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
Preference for candidates with Meditech experience
Active Vermont RN or multi-state RN license
BLS (American Heart Association) – required
ACLS – required
Flu shot required—no exceptions
All credentials must be uploaded five business days prior to start date for onboarding
