Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experienced Talent Acquisitions Manager to oversee talent acquisition and recruitment processes for a higher education client northeast of Columbus. This is an interim (contract) position, with potential for contract to hire. This role will manage a small team and handle approximately 20 active job postings at any given time. Job postings will be a variety of different positions, including hourly and salaried roles. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on experience with Workday systems. This role is based 100% onsite at the client's location northeast of Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for approximately 20 open positions.

• Oversee and mentor a team of two HR professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Utilize Workday HRIS and HCM systems to manage recruitment workflows and ensure accurate data tracking.

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and meet organizational hiring goals.

• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and align hiring efforts accordingly.

• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.

• Maintain organized records of hiring activities and provide regular updates to leadership.

• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and implement best practices.

• Act as a point of contact for candidates, fostering a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.

• Proven expertise in managing recruitment processes using Workday HRIS and HCM systems.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring team members.

• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail in handling multiple job postings and deadlines.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with stakeholders and candidates.

• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards in recruitment practices.

• Previous experience in higher education hiring processes is a plus.
