Job Description
We are seeking friendly, dependable team member t cover the front desk during evenings. You'll be the first point of contact for members and prospects, help maintain a clean/welcoming environment, support admin and sales tasks, and contribute to our club's culture of exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests promptly and with a welcoming attitude.
Answer phone calls, respond to emails/inquires, and assist with general information (membership types, services, class schedules).
Conduct club tours for prospective members and assist with new-member on-boarding/ check-in.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area and common spaces (wipe equipment, tidy lobby, re-stock supplies, bathroom clean.)
Enforce club policies (e.g.,guest access, member check-in, safety rules) and escalate issues to management
Support administrative tasks: check - in logs scheduling, data entry assisting PT/coach staff as needed.
Assist with sales tasks: capturing lead info, booking intro sessions, follow up.
Always uphold a professional appearance, friendly demeanor, punctuality, and team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with basic computer tasks: Scheduling software, email, member check-in system.
Reliable, punctual, able to multi task in a fast-paced gym environment.
Previous customer service or front-desk experience preferred.
A passion for fitness and helping people is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-Time: e.g.,evenings Monday-Wednesday 1-7, Thursday 1-6, Friday 1-5 (needs to be flexible for last minute appointments)
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Commission: Following 90 day probationary period and based on overall performance.
