The main purpose of the role:
This role suits a natural planner and facilitator who thrives on bringing structure, alignment,and clarity to complex projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules, ensuring all interdependencies are captured.
Facilitate planning sessions, workshops, and progress check-ins to maintain structured and realistic schedules.
Act as the central coordination point for project planning, ensuring that everyone is aligned to milestones and deliverables.
Identify planning gaps, risks, and conflicts and escalate them for resolution.
Track progress and ensure continuity across all project workstreams.
Provide regular planning updates and reporting to ExCo and ManCo.
Foster collaboration and accountability within the team to maintain project momentum.
Work closely with ExCo, ManCo, and project team members to align individual plans with overall project timelines.Requirements:
5+ years experience in project planning, coordination, or program management roles.
No previous technical energy sector experience required but must excel at structuring, facilitating, and coordinating planning activities to ensure continuity and delivery across the project.
Demonstrated success in working with senior leadership teams on strategic projects.
Experience in cross-functional stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
Relevant qualification in project management, business management, or related field (advantageous but not mandatory).
Competence with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar).
