Assembly / Crating Technician - 1st shift

We are looking for candidates for Assembler roles on the 1st shift (6am-2:30pm Mon thru Thurs). Compensation for this opportunity is between $18.00-$22.00 per hour. Interested? What an Assembler will do:

Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine assembly instructions

Assemble sheet metal components using various hand and power tools

Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled products meet company standards

Operate equipment such as presses, drills, and fasteners

Construct Crates for Finished product utilizing radial saws, drills, screw guns, staplers, etc.

Package products into crates to ensure damage-free transport

Ensure that all packaging slip paperwork is filled out accurately

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment

What you need to be an Assembler:

Must have at least 6 months experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field within the last year

Must have experince working with power tools

Must be able to read a tape measure

Must have ability to follow written blueprint instructions or process sheets

Must have written and verbal communication skills in English

Must be able to work overtime on Friday's as needed

Must be a self-starter with good communication skills

Must have history of good attendance

Must be able to lift 50 pounds on occasion with or without reasonable accommodations
