Surgery - Thoracic Physician Assistant

Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job in WisconsinJob Details/Scope of Work:

Start: ASAP - specific priority dates listed below. Need will be for at least 6 months.

2x Thursday-Sunday shifts per month

Procedures: Vein harvesting required

Day shift Schedule: Weekday 8 hour shift, Weekends 4 hour rounding

Call schedule: On call after scheduled day shift weekday and weekend. Low call volume.

Case mix: 75% Cardiac, Lung/chest 20%, Minimal Vascular and Trauma

Dates Needed:

October 30th 7am - November 3rd 7am

November 26th - December 1st 7am

December 5th 7am - December 8th 7am

Locums Requirements:

OR experience including endoharvesting of vein and radial arteries required

First assisting experience required

Postoperative management and consults experience

Active Wisconsin license

Facility Details and Support:

Support staff: 1 MD, 1 APNP and 1 RN

Not Trauma Center
