Employee will be part of the Deployment Pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules.
Maintains an Aircraft Scheduling and Documentation (ASD) maintenance and utilization program. Helps develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.
Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Maintains proficiency in operations of the USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS), and other maintenance management database library programs. Maintains equipment records in library files. Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of various maintenance activities. Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections.
USAF equivalent position is Aircraft Scheduling & Documentation Journeyman.
Essential Responsibilities:
Prepares the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance.
Assist in the oversight of the TCTO process for completion and proper documentation with IMDS and/or CEMS.
Supervises/maintains assigned aircraft/equipment records in database library files within IMDS and/or CEMS.
Assists in the collection, review, and filing of documented information for planning and scheduling of RPA maintenance activities.
Ensure accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections.
Performs and documents training of lower ASD personnel to ensure mission readiness, as required.
Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have High School Diploma, or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum
Minimum of three years actual Aircraft Plans & Scheduling experience required
Must possess comprehensive planning and organizational skills
Must be able to work under deadlines with minimal supervision
Must be able to gain/maintain CEMS access for Engine Management purposes
Employee must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria, to include pre-deployment medical screening, as a condition of employment
Must be able to Deploy to Forward Locations (other countries) as Directed by the Government
Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Must have had an Active Secret US Government Clearance within the last 12 months. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
Must be able to maintain required DoD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties during employment.
Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date
Must have current/active U.S. Driver’s License
Must have valid U.S. Passport with a minimum of two years remaining with at least two facing pairs (four total) of blank Visa pages
Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated with booster. Accommodations may be available under limited circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree in a relevant career field
Plans and Scheduling experience within the last 10 years
Minimum of two years’ experience in operations of the USAF MIS, including CAMS/IMDS
RPA Operations & Deployment Experience
Previous Experience as Engine Manager with CEMS experience
Prior experience as a Defense Contractor
Previous MQ-9 Plans and Scheduling Experience Desired
