About the Job

We are seeking a Robotics Engineer with strong system-level understanding, debugging proficiency, and the ability to contribute to both deployment support and algorithm development. The ideal candidate can navigate a robotics stack, perform data-driven root-cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to enhance the performance of perception, planning, and control modules. A Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

What You'll Get To Do

Develop a deep understanding of the robotics software stack (perception, localization, planning, control).

Perform detailed data reviews and log analysis to identify, reproduce, and pinpoint technical root causes across software and hardware layers.

Manage Git branch structures and deployment pipelines, ensuring reliable code integration, release preparation, and rollback capability.

Collaborate with core developers to propose and implement algorithmic improvements to navigation, perception, and control systems.

Support field testing and simulation validation by analyzing performance regressions and verifying fixes.

Build and maintain internal debugging, visualization, and diagnostic tools for multi-sensor and multi-node environments.

Contribute to structured release documentation, regression reports, and field data reviews.

What You Have

BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or MS in a related field.

Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Python.

Experience with ROS/ROS2, and debugging tools (rosbag, rviz, rqt, tf).

Proficiency with Git workflows (feature, develop, release, hotfix branches) and CI/CD integration.

Familiarity with Linux development environments and build systems (CMake).

The Extras That Set You Apart

Master’s degree in Robotics or related field.

Experience contributing to core robotics algorithms, such as SLAM, path planning, traversability estimation or control.

Familiarity with sensor fusion, state estimation, and multi-sensor synchronization (LiDAR, IMU, camera).

Understanding of optimization, reinforcement learning, or motion planning algorithms (A*, RRT, MPC).

Experience with system profiling and runtime debugging (GDB, perf, valgrind).

Full time

Compensation The salary range for this role is dependent upon experience.
