Job Title: ProBooks Accounting Specialist Department: Profit Coach Location: Remote (with the ability to travel for training or meetings) Work Hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday Compensation: $29.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits: * 401(k) with employer 3% matching * Medical insurance provided with minimal employee contribution (with HRA) * Supplemental insurances * Employer-provided life insurance/AD&D * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * 3.08 hours of PTO accrued biweekly * 6 paid holidays Primary Job Function: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our accounting services team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients, ensuring timely data entry, reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards.

This role is essential in supporting the financial health of our clients across various industries.

Daily Duties: * Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments * Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions * Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections * Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies * Communicate with clients to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies * Support Team Lead and Senior Managers during financial reviews * Maintain organized electronic and physical financial records * Use accounting software tools (QuickBooks, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) efficiently and accurately * Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: * Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing) * Experience in accounting or bookkeeping (internship or coursework in accounting a plus) * Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting * Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and general ledger functions * Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Why Work for Us?
