Piedmont University is seeking an experienced Dual Enrollment Coordinator. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Dual Enrollment Coordinator oversees and manages all aspects of the dual enrollment program, which enables high school students to earn college credit through approved college-level courses. This position is responsible for program development, recruitment, registration, and student support while maintaining strong partnerships with high schools and ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Program Development and Management
Develops and maintains all aspects of the dual enrollment program, including procedures, timelines, and strategies to optimize operations and achieve program goals.
Ensures program growth, quality, and alignment with institutional objectives.High School Partnerships
Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with high school administrators, counselors, and teachers.
Serves as the primary liaison between the college and partner high schools to ensure effective communication and program coordination.Collaboration Across Campus
Coordinates with college departments-including Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Academic Affairs-to ensure a seamless enrollment process for dual enrollment students.Recruitment and Outreach
Develops and implements recruitment strategies to attract prospective students.
Plans and conducts recruitment events, information sessions, and outreach activities in collaboration with college and high school partners.Registration and Enrollment Management
Oversees all aspects of registration and enrollment for dual enrollment students, including application processing, admissions paperwork, and course registration.Student Advising and Support
Provides guidance to students on course selection and academic planning in collaboration with high school counselors.
Monitors student progress, identifies academic or engagement concerns, and connects students with appropriate support resources.Compliance and Recordkeeping
Ensures program compliance with college policies, state and federal regulations, and FERPA guidelines.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of student data, enrollment information, and program activities.Communication and Reporting
Supports the Director of Campus Events in coordinating and executing Dual Enrollment Orientation each semester.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school personnel to share information about program benefits, policies, and opportunities.
Serves as the primary point of contact for all dual enrollment inquiries, concerns, and recruitment-related questions.
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
On-site work is required.
Incumbents must remain relevant in the area of employment and flexible to changes in work related to institutional needs.
Typical Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree. Experience in higher education admissions, academic advising, or related field strongly preferred. Experience working with high school students, school districts, school counselors, or dual enrollment programs preferred.
Licenses and Certification
Valid Georgia Driver's License (or obtained within 30 days of hire date) and satisfactory MVR.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, and school personnel.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems; experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) a plus.

Essential functions and responsibilities of this position are performed in an inside environmental condition, where there is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Essential functions and responsibilities require light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.

Incumbents must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as extensive reading and operate computers and other office equipment.
