Certified Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care (CNA – LTC) to support residents in a long-term care facility. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe and clean environment, and promote dignity and quality of life for all residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Job Responsibilities
Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
Ensure resident safety by following proper protocols, including fall prevention and infection control.
Help residents maintain independence while supporting their comfort and well-being.
Document care provided and complete required forms or charts accurately and promptly.
Participate in shift change reports and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Maintain a clean, organized, and supportive care environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Active CNA certification in good standing with the state registry.
Minimum 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
Current BLS or CPR certification required.
Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow care plans.
