Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician
Location: 875 Dearborn Drive-Columbus, OH 43085
Duration: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $20-24/hr on W2 (Including all benefits)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7a to 3:45p, daily and Saturday O/T as business demands.
Position has the potential to go Temp to Hire. Attendance and Proven Performer are key factors.
Test Technician - Bench
Job Summary:
The Test Technician - bench is responsible for performing verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities involve performing testing and troubleshooting with basic meters and associated equipment.
• Basic circuit analysis
• Interrupt schematics and assembly prints
• Perform verification testing on circuit boards and various assemblies.
• Any additional tasks as deemed necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
The Test Technician must have a technology background experience in power electronics and a versatile hands-on individual with good analytical skills. Experience with power in the ranges of 480 VAC 3phase and 240 VDC. DC/AC principles and electrical language.
Diploma or Certificate in Electronics program or equivalent experience or Military equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications:
• Must possess electrical and mechanical aptitude and basic skills with electro/mechanical assembly and must be proficient with the use hand tools.
• Must have knowledge in the use of multi-meters and other basic instruments. Have basic knowledge in the use of multi-purpose test instruments such as oscilloscopes, component testers, digital test equipment.
• Possess the ability to read: wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics and parts lists and have a basic understanding of electronic circuits.
• Must be computer literate and have some knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Must possess the ability to work in a team environment as well as being able to manage time with little supervision. Ability to multitask is a must.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and troubleshooting skills.
• Possess some knowledge of AC/DC power electronics. Must be willing to work with voltages as high as 480 VAC 3phase and 240 VDC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good troubleshooting skills.
