Business Manager

Norman Alex is currently seeking a Business Manager to join a well established private bank in Monaco. This position plays a key role within the Front Office, ensuring robust first-line controls and supporting management in optimising business efficiency and risk oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Perform first line of defence (1LOD) controls across private banking activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Identify operational and compliance risks, propose remedial actions, and prepare management reports.

Lead periodic client reviews and support the Front Office on AML/KYC matters.

Coordinate responses to audits and internal reviews.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline and improve operational processes.

Assist the Head of Front Office with day-to-day business management, onboarding, and team development initiatives.

Profile Sought

Minimum 3 years’ experience in compliance, AML/KYC, or business risk management within private banking.

University degree in Banking, Law, or a related discipline.

Fluent in English and French; Russian is a plus.

Strong analytical mindset, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
