Tekla Structural Steel Detailer

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' working experience in Tekla Structures.

Good knowledge of structural steel detailing.

Strong proficiency in reading architectural & structural drawings is a must.

Knowledge of Australian standards is an advantage.

Auto cad / Revit experience is an advantage but not essential.

Working experience with laser scanning and pointcloud is an advantage but not essential.

Key Skills:

Ability to work independently and detail a whole project from start to completion.

Strong drawing and presentations skills.

Strong English communication skills.

Tasks & responsibilities

3D modelling of structural steel in Tekla Structures.

Coordinate with consultant's 3D models / architects & engineer's drawings.

Produce assemblies, single part drawings and marking plans.

Produce IFC models / digital files to allow for automated steel processing.

Providing information from Tekla to allow for digital set outs onsite.

Liaise with project managers / clients / consultants.
