Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and career-driven Procurement Engineer to join our Supply Chain Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, supplier performance, and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full procurement cycle: sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and follow-up.
Identify and evaluate new suppliers to enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Review technical specifications, project requirements, and ensure materials comply with standards.
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, logistics, warehouse, finance, and project teams).
Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate supplier records.
Maintain cost comparisons, purchase reports, and procurement analyses.
Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies, procedures, and budget guidelines.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Manage urgent or time-sensitive requirements efficiently without compromising quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience (preferably in industrial, engineering, oil & gas, chemicals, or construction sectors).
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis.
ERP experience is required.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to handle a high volume of requirements and prioritize effectively.
