IV Pharmacist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join our team in a long-term care pharmacy setting.
This role involves ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and overseeing medication preparation and dispensing.
Responsibilities + Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
+ Ensure medications are dispensed correctly, with accurate labeling and documentation.
+ Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related inquiries.
+ Supervise the preparation and packaging of medications in accordance with established protocols.
Essential Skills + Active Pharmacist license with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ High attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in a long-term care or institutional pharmacy setting preferred.
+ Proficiency with pharmacy software systems; experience with Frameworks LTC is a plus.

There is one opening on the 1st shift, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and one opening on the 2nd shift, Monday-Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
