Demand Planning Specialist (需求計畫專員)

Established in 1987, Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE) is a prominent joint-venture between Air Liquide Group, a global leader in gases, technologies, and services for Industry and Health, and Far Eastern New Century Group. In recent years, ALFE has emerged as the top French company in terms of investment in Taiwan's manufacturing industry. Presently, ALFE boasts a workforce of over 780 employees and maintains a strong presence with 40 offices and plants located in Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, as well as the major Science Parks across Taiwan, providing critical high-quality industrial gases, specialty gases, and advanced materials.

The role is responsible for optimizing the supply chain for advanced semiconductor materials, closely collaborating with sales and product teams to conduct demand planning, order forecasting, and inventory management to fulfill customer needs. This position ensures regulatory compliance through effective communication with factories and stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste in bonded goods usage.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Supply & Inventory Management

Supply Coordination: Monitor subsidiary's actual shipping and forecast volumes to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) and sustained supply reliability.

Inventory Control: Manage demands and inventory levels proactively to prevent stock shortages.

Risk Identification: Proactively identify potential supply risks and determine necessary action plans.

Forecasting & Analysis: Calculate and review forecast accuracy based on actual deliveries.

Asset Collaboration: Work closely with Asset Specialists to review and optimize the available asset pool.

Communication: Provide timely and accurate visibility on supply planning (deviations, hazards) and inventory status to Air Liquide customers(Semiconductor companies, etc.) and affiliates(Oversea affiliate).

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Goal Achievement

Team Integration: Serve as a core member of cross-functional teams (e.g., Planners, Asset Managers, Procurement, Business, HSEQ) to achieve organizational goals related to Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Efficiency.

Project Support: Support various ad-hoc supply chain improvement projects.

3. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to International Transport of Dangerous Goods Regulations (Road and Seafreight).

Process Optimization: Identify logistics dysfunctions (e.g., lead time, cost, quality) and propose corrective and improvement actions.
