**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 1 year of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
+ 1 year of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
+ Experience in metrics analysis, experiment design and automation.
+ Experience with applied AI experimentation and prototyping.
+ Track record of delivering problem-solving recommendations that were adopted by an organization and drive real-world business impact.
+ Ability to collaborate with teammates and independently drive workstreams forward and overcome any obstacles that arise.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively and concisely convey the results of the work both verbally and in short write-ups.
**About the job**
Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google Ads products. In this team, you are a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed with urgency. You take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote users trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
In this role, you will be working with Program Manager, Software Engineers (ML/Anti-Abuse and Security Engineers), Policy, Sales and Review teams in strategy to outsmart the adversaries. You will be working on developing data driven insights to improve the review operations, identify new trends in foundational fraud abuse, automation of processes and enforcement, feature engineering/signal development of ML model improvements, reverse engineering, develop intelligence on threat actors, etc., to stay one step ahead of the adversaries.
**Responsibilities**
+ Execute projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with executive stakeholders from Engineering, Legal, Product teams and more.
+ Deliver improvements to our performance metrics based on understanding drivers of abuse and leveraging fellow teammates to deliver exceptional business results.
+ Provide technical contributions to the team and leverage problem-solving and programming skills to ensure that solutions fit within the current complex product and backend infrastructures.
+ Deliver cross-functional strategic solutions at scale, focused on user safety, process optimizations and safe business for our advertisers.
