Marine Technician

We are seeking a motivated Marine Technician to join our busy Marine Service Center. If you are hands-on, a quick learner, and have a strong mechanical background, we want to hear from you. Compensation will be based on experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair marine engines and onboard systems (inboard, outboard, and sterndrive)

Use diagnostic tools and software to evaluate engine/system fault codes

Perform routine maintenance: fluid changes, impeller replacements, lower-unit service, battery testing, and seasonal prep/winterization

Conduct full-system inspections, including electrical, fuel, steering, and propulsion systems

Maintain accurate documentation and follow service center procedures

Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly to customers

Deliver quality workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience needed

Willingness to learn marine systems and diagnostic processes

Strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
