Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast center, requiring ARRT certification and Ohio licensure.
Responsibilities
Primarily outpatient setting at a comprehensive breast center with occasional support at a satellite screening location
Responsibilities include both screening and diagnostic mammography at the breast center and screening mammography at the satellite site
Mammography procedures performed include screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D studies
Patient ratio averages 10-15 per shift
Uses Digital Hologic (Tomo) equipment; prior experience preferred
First shift position with rotating hours from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
During holiday weeks, shifts change to four 10-hour shifts
Occasional Saturday shifts required
Variable hours between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM when working on mobile mammography units
Role does not require performing biopsies
May provide support across multiple locations as needed
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Time off requests must be included prior to contract and will be built into the contract
Former employees are eligible if they have not worked at the facility within the past 6 months
Current employees are not eligible for travel assignments at this location
Urgent completion of fingerprinting is necessary for all candidates
Business casual dress code unless otherwise specified
Requirements
Current BLS certification required
ARRT certification and ARRT advanced certification required
Valid Ohio Department of Health license required
Experience in both digital and 3-D mammography procedures required
Outpatient mammography experience required
Knowledge of Digital Hologic (Tomo) equipment preferred
Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or leader
Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signing
License required if applicable
