Position Overview

We invite a talented and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform various diagnostic exams, engage with a collaborative group of clinicians, and provide patients the peace of mind they deserve through accurate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

Facilitate patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while clearly communicating each step

Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images

Maintain and operate imaging equipment responsibly, reporting any malfunctions promptly

Carefully document procedures and maintain electronic medical records with precision

Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies Education Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related domain

Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program Certifications Required

Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred Skills Needed

Strong competency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

An inclination to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
