**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **Job Summary** + The Maintenance Installation Business Developer is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing contracts for small scale landscape construction services and installation projects.
This role requires a strong balance of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management to expand the client base, increase revenue, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:** + Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach + Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for installation projects outside the Maintenance book of business.
+ Develop customized proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value + Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals + Build strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers + Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth transition to operations teams post-sale + Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention + Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify new opportunities + Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements.
+ Leverage market intelligence to position the company as a preferred partner for landscaping installation solutions + Partner with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery.
Review large scale ($1M or greater) jobs with senior leadership (SVP) + Work with branch and senior leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategies + Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results using CRM systems **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience) + 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management or related service industries + Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals + Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills + Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently + Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Regular local travel to client sites, industry events, and networking opportunities + Office-based activities including proposal development, client follow-up, and team collaboration + Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record **Work Environment:** + Works in an indoor office and outdoors during construction site walks or project evaluations + Requires occasional evening and/or weekend networking events or meetings **_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._** **_This job description is subject to change at any time._** **Compensation Pay Range:** 65,000 - 85,000 **_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
