Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to grow and manage a portfolio of customers across Northern Ireland. The Sales Representative will promote a broad range of products, achieve sales targets, and strengthen customer relationships. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, bringing a variety of food, drink, and household products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and manage a portfolio of customers while promoting a broad range of product categories.
Achieve sales targets, including volume, margin, and growth, through effective customer negotiations, promotions, and merchandising.
Present and upsell products to maximise category presence and profitability.
Maintain and grow customer relationships, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of queries.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback; provide insights to marketing and product teams.
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, marketing, operations) to support product availability, deliveries, promotions, and stock management.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably within FMCG or retail wholesale.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Customer-focused with a track record of building trust and long-term relationships.
Excellent organisational skills, able to develop journey plans, manage time, and meet targets.
Comfortable working to KPIs and handling sales data, forecasts, and reports.
Full driving licence and ability to cover assigned territory.
