Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Auxiliary to join our care team. The successful candidate will support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. This role plays a crucial part in daily care routines and maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Assist with feeding, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and adequate hydration.
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any concerns to nursing staff promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in resident areas, including changing bed linen and room tidying.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Maintain accurate documentation as required.
Participate in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Previous care experience is preferred but not essential full training will be provided.
Empathetic, patient and dedicated to delivering high standards of care.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and work professionally at all times.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
