EDI Developer with Edifecs

they have integrations with multiple healthcare providers and rely on Edifecs software solutions to automate and manage how EDI data is handled. The client has a high-urgency project to move a small, specialized part of their claims review process to an external vendor and will need to modify their internal Edifecs to suit the next process and integrations. As a result, the role will require a contractor with good overall Edifecs expertise as well as solid knowledge of EDI, SQL, XML, and data mapping in relation to Edifecs.

Requirements:

Experience developing Edifecs maps and templates

Solid XML and X12 EDI transactions experience in the insurance industry (ideally with claims processes), e.g. 835/837 (P/I/D), 275/276/277, and 270/271 transactions

Experience developing new or modifying Edifecs pathways within pre-existing systems.

Solid understanding of SQL for relational databases (preferably SQL Server and DB2)

Ability to take initiative and work independently

Good communication skills

Technical degree or relevant related work experience
