We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and energetic team member who will join us as a full-time Test Engineer/ Senior Test Engineer and work as part of our Ankara team for our defence sector projects.
Technical Requirements:
Has B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a related area
Proven 5+ years of Software Test work experience in
Functional, non-functional, regression and system testing
RESTful API testing
Integration testing
Acceptance testing
Performance testing
Test Automation
Experience in test analysis, design, test case development, execution, and reporting
Having ISTQB Foundation Level Test knowledge
Experience using TFS, MTM and SOAP UI
Experience in test automation with Cypress, Selenium IDE / Web Driver or Protractor
Experience in software testing (preferably in defence projects) according to IEEE 829
General knowledge in:
Object-Oriented Programming paradigm
Microsoft Development Technologies
Web Application Development and Web Services
Javascript, HTML5 and web application frameworks
Relational & non-relational Databases
Experience using Configuration Management Systems and Team Collaboration Software (e.g. TFS, GitLab, etc.)
General knowledge of Continuous Integration and DevOps
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and SDLC models
General knowledge of Agile Development practices and Scrum
Nice to have areas of knowledge:
Having ISTQB Foundation Level Test Certificate
Knowledge in:
.NET Framework, .NET Core
C#
Angular
RESTful API design and consumption, XML, JSON etc.
Previous experience in AirC2 area or NATO AirC2IS Project
Responsibilities:
Controlling and tracing the relevance of the system-level design documents, Use Case, HMI, Feature documents, etc. and the system itself
Generating test procedures by analysing and designing test cases according to scope and impacted areas
Having an active role in the test runs and reporting the test results
Having an active role in the test automation process (analyse the test scope, design the test, generate test scripts, run related scripts and report results)
Creating and tracing the defect records and findings
Carrying out all the testing and verification activities that are held in both Ankara, NCIA The Hague and NATO Headquarters

Having good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work as a reliable, responsible, and self-motivated team player
Having good problem solving and analytical skills
Being proactive to project needs and demands in fast changing environment
Having a passion for lifelong learning and personal qualification improvement
Having a sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
Power user in Microsoft Office and open office applications
Very good command of both written and oral English (KPDS/YDS:75, TOEFL iBT: 80, CEFR B2 or equivalent)
No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily
Completed military service for male candidates
Having a valid National Security Clearance from Ministry of National Defence, Turkey, is a plus
