BASIC FUNCTION: Casto’s Payroll & HR Coordinator ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, maintains organized records, and supports essential HR functions.

This role is an integral part of the human resources team.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll:Manage the timekeeping system and assist supervisors with processing timeEnter all changes in payroll system, ensuring integrity of the dataTransmit bi-weekly payrollsImport files and run scheduled and ad hoc payroll reportsCut manual checks as needed outside the normal payroll cycleMaintain accurate records in the company's electronic filing system Personnel Changes:Track the receipt of associate documents and manage new hire checklistsProcess terminations, including drafting termination letters and processing termination checklists FMLA and Medical Leave:Process and track all medical leave and ensure the appropriate documents are sent and receivedWork with our third-party FMLA administrator to manage FMLA claims Other duties and responsibilities:Coordinate annual compensation review by preparing market data and salary sheetsServe on internal committee(s) such as Wellness Committee, Culture Club, and/or Community Impact Committee (CIC) Lead various trainings for associates, including but not limited to ADP training for new supervisorsAssist with HR initiatives, including recruiting, wellness, and benefits Protect the integrity of HR's electronic filing system by ensuring documents are current and entered without errorPrepare information to submit in response to unemployment claimsRespond to employment verification requests SKILLSBachelor’s degree 1-3 years of experience in payroll or related HR fieldADP WorkforceNow experience preferredExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate with all levels within the organizationAbility to work with/keep confidential informationWorking knowledge of employment laws and regulations preferred Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insurance CASTO offers a supportive and inclusive environment for all associates and their families.
