DESCRIPTION:

The Demand & Deployment Analyst (D&D Analyst) executes inventory deployment functions to support new stores inventory setup and replenishment for Victoria's Secret Lingerie. This position will be responsible for deploying inventory, managing relationships with Franchise Partners, working with cross-functional partners on the international and domestic teams, maintaining location master file, and assisting with special projects. The D&D Analyst will strategically assess the demand and inventory position across the business with the intent of aligning financial and operational plans. This role will ensure consistent execution of the inventory deployment targets and alignment with the business strategy across all categories as related to assortments, priorities, and objectives to ensure optimum inventory levels to maximize sales and margin. The D&D Analyst will champion approaches to unlock incremental opportunities at the store/size level within market geographies/stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with cross functional teams and franchise partners to align on inventory targets, assortment, projected size selling, and market specific needs.

Perform analytics and generate reporting to read new store sales performance post opening.

Support store inventory post opening by monitoring health of inventory across all lines of business at a style/size level.

Work with cross functional team to ensure the most accurate data is updated in the location master file

Ensure store are set up properly in all systems to sustain flow of goods once passed to the deployment team.

Participate in floorset and strategy planning, inventory and demand forecasting alignment, and size selling analysis driving local merchandise distortions across all lines of business

Support MP&A team by identifying areas of opportunity in the assortment and adapt future deployments to reflect new learnings and strategies

Leverage an understanding of all lines of business to unlock efficiencies and deployment processes

Generate ad-hoc reporting as required

Perform analysis of store-level callouts from partners

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning and/or inventory deployment &ndash preferably in international retail markets

High level of technical proficiency using Microsoft Excel required

Proficiency with some/all the following systems preferred: MSI (Microstrategy), JDA Allocation, SAP

Excellent statistical/quantitative analytical skills

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities

Excellent communication, prioritization and problem-solving skills

Ability to be a team player and to foster a commitment to teamwork among associates EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
