Position Overview

RISE Commercial District is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Manager Trainee to join our growing team in Columbus, OH. This role is designed for individuals eager to build a career in property management. As a Property Manager Trainee, you’ll assist with daily property operations, tenant relations, lease administration, maintenance coordination, and financial reporting.

You’ll gain hands-on experience while learning the ins and outs of commercial property management in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day property operations and tenant communications

Support lease administration, renewals, and documentation

Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services

Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality and safety standards

Help with financial reporting, budgeting, and expense tracking

Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures

Collaborate with the property management team to enhance tenant satisfaction and property performance

Qualifications

Experience in property management, sales, or customer service preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Basic understanding of property maintenance coordination

Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting

Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

Experience with property management software is a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred
