Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An early childhood school in Westerville, OH, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a leave contract. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience working with preschool caseloads in early childhood settings. The contract runs from January through February, extending about a week into March.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to preschool-aged children within an early childhood educational setting
Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders consistent with individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Experience managing preschool caseloads in school settings
Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development and intervention strategies
Effective communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
