We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of personnel, vehicles, and equipment to ensure timely and efficient operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch drivers, technicians, or service personnel to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
Monitor and track the status of dispatched jobs to ensure timely completion.
Communicate effectively with field staff, customers, and management to provide updates and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, routes, and delivery schedules.
Use dispatch software and other tools to manage workflow and optimize routes.
Respond promptly to emergency or urgent requests and adjust schedules as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or transportation is a plus.
Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in dispatch software and basic computer applications (MS Office).
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and transportation guidelines is preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Glencoe, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
