Construction Site Safety Manager

Location: Columbus, OH (Expo Center)

Duration: 12 Months (Start: 11/17)

Hourly Rate: $52/HR

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay: Weekly

Schedule: M – F 0700 – 1500 40hrs/week Day ShiftProject Scope

The site safety manager will oversee safety for mechanical installation at the Expo Center. Must have a background in piping, sheet metal, and HVAC. Attend safety meetings and ensure proper paperwork for site activity. JHAs/AHAs/Toolbox Talks.Qualifications

Candidates must have the following requirements:

OSHA 30, 500, or 510

3+ years of constrcution safetyKey Responsibilities

Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations

Provide safety training as needed

Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols

Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence

Perform additional EHS-related tasks as requiredSkills & KnowledgeSkills:

Excellent public speaking and communication abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)

Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive informationKnowledge:

Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
