Required Experience:

Using the Linux CLI and Linux tools

Developing Bash / Python scripts to automate manual processes

Automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment

Troubleshooting and debugging issues in an operational system

CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins

Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills

Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox

Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as Splunk

Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Keycloak

Secret Management tools such as HashiCorp Vault

Familiar with Message Brokers such as Kafka

Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd

Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Position Description

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the development, enhancement, and

sustainment of automation tools in support of system management infrastructure

software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a

Linux environment.
