Description:

The Quality Engineer drives product and process excellence through technical expertise, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. The role ensures ISO 9001 compliance, continuous improvement, and alignment with the company's core values, supporting manufacturing quality, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for production and finished goods.

Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methods.

Support production and engineering teams by analyzing process capabilities and driving improvements.

Manage supplier quality issues, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions (CARs).

Track and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and recommend preventive actions.

Develop and update inspection plans, SOPs, and quality documentation in line with ISO 9001 standards.

Conduct and support internal and external quality audits.

Train production staff on inspection techniques, quality standards, and compliance.

Ensure product compliance with specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned with company values of Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Teamwork.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

3-5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or power generation equipment.

Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and auditing processes.

Proficient in root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Skilled in blueprint reading, mechanical inspection, and the use of precision measurement tools.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience a plus.

Knowledge of welding, sheet metal, and electrical systems preferred.

Must adhere to OSHA safety standards and work effectively in an industrial manufacturing environment.
