Purpose: The Manager of Security leads and oversees all Security operations and personnel of the Company. Develops client relationships and furthers revenue generating services within existing accounts and ensures department profitability.
Essential Duties include the following:
Leads and oversees Security Operations and personnel
Responsible for mentoring and developing Security Project Managers and Field Technicians
Ensures projects delivered on time and on budget while ensuring customer satisfaction
Responsible for overall department profitability
Maintains and grows existing end-user relationships
Performs some estimating for projects and client requests using established company standards.
Cross-sells with vendors and manufacturing partners
Assists customers with system design and budgeting
Assists field and office staff with technical questions
Helps define and implement sales and marketing efforts with appropriate management
Contacts prospective and established customers on a regular basis to promote Kenny Electric's products and services
Processing customers' orders using established company standards
Good working relationships with customers and coworkers; maintain ethical work standards
Complying with all Kenny Electric Service safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Participates in industry associations
Attends industry training and education sessions
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skill Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the Security industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Owners, Engineers, Architects, and General Contractors
Demonstrated experience selling Access Control, Video Surveillance systems, and intrusion detection and services
Demonstrated customer relationship-building skills
Must be computer literate, proficient in estimating software, Power Point, Excel, Word a must
Basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principles
Must be able to design and create proposals, conceive and present focused solutions to the customer
Physical Requirements:
Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
Able to get to customer job sites
Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead
Work Environment: Able to work in all elements, depending on job locations and time of year
