YOUR TASKS
Salary Range: $55,000-$61,000
Coordinate and manage a timely flow of orders and deliveries to customers.
Record and maintain data in sales database system to ensure accuracy and efficiency of sales scheduling data.
Communicate with sales team, customers, and logistics to provide real-time scheduling updates.
Work closely with the marketing, production, and dispatch teams to facilitate smooth product movement and delivery.
Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and process requests for quotation, tenders and bid proposals as they relate to logistics and shipping/distribution.
Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with those on your team, as well as cross-functionally.
Continuously optimize logistics and sales scheduling processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Investigate any delays or complications in the sales scheduling process and implement appropriate solutions.
Produce regular progress and efficiency reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with industry, government and company standards within the logistics pathway.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, sales scheduling or a similar role.
Proficient in software related to logistics, sales scheduling, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of industry protocols and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, achieve results, foster innovation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills to assess and process logistical requirements.
Strong organizational abilities including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Experience with logistics database management and ability to learn new software quickly.
Experience in working effectively within a team and individually.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Candidate must have proven negotiation and project management skills.
