Concrete Foreman

The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established and growing construction company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Concrete Foreman with pay up to $40 an hour + Bonus based on skill set & experience. If selected, day ONE you are this companies employee!** We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead daily operations on commercial construction sites. This position oversees crews, coordinates pour and finishing activities, and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee concrete crews during pour placement and finishing

Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and adjust plans to maintain efficiency

Prepare and maintain daily reports, safety documents, and work records

Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material needs with project leadership

Train and mentor crew members to uphold performance and safety expectations

Enforce company safety practices and OSHA compliance on all job sites

Foster strong working relationships with field staff, project managers, and subcontractors Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

OSHA 30 Certification required

2+ years of supervisory experience in concrete or construction preferred

Strong understanding of construction processes and safety regulations

Effective communication and leadership skills

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Willingness to travel daily to job sites (no permanent office assignment)

Self-motivated, dependable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Spanish/English bilingual skills are preferred but not required Whats in it for you?:
