Position Summary:
The successful candidate will work with the division IT and local plant finance and manufacturing teams to analyze business processes and implement robust solutions to meet the needs of the business.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot business and manufacturing solutions
Capture detailed system specifications to enhance business and manufacturing processes:
Research and identify industry solutions to accommodate business needs
Build, Upgrade or enhance existing MS SQL /C#.NET applications
Perform data mining, data analysis, develop reports and queries from various systems in support of production, finance, sales, etc.
Conducts individual and group training sessions
Install, setup, configure, implement, integrate and testing of solutions
Document application requirements, technical specifications, use-cases, and workflow processes
Support and implement Corporate and Division data governance and master data initiatives
Enforcement of company compliance, safety, environmental, governmental policies, and regulations as they apply
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 Years as business systems analyst with MS SQL /C#.NET application development
Able to communicate effectively with employees in a professional and friendly manner
Able to work independently as a productive member of multiple teams
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, manufacturing/industrial engineering and or related studies (or equivalent project-related experience)
Minimum 3 years' IT experience using MS SQL /C#.NET
Strong knowledge of SDLC
Experience with ERP, preferably ORACLE and/or Infor Platform products (e.g., Visual, Syteline), is highly desired
Cloud computing (Azure and/or AWS) is a plus
Experience working with MES, SCADA and PLC is a plus
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace is a plus
Working Conditions:
Must be able to support a 24/7 operation
Additional travel to other locations may be required
Working conditions may include:
Small spaces, dust, fumes, odors, hot / cold temperatures, inside / outside noise vibration
Exposure to hazardous chemical environment
Intermittent exposure to moderate noise
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds on an infrequent basis
Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery
Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
