18 months experience in any combination of the following\: Computers and/or telecommunications, software and/or hardware, applications, support products, projects or databases for small scale systems OR programs/pieces of larger systems.

Option 2:

Completion of associate core program in Computer Science or Information Systems

AND

12 months of combined work experience as specified by the agency position description & job posting.

Or

Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Pay Information

This position is in the State of Ohio’s OCSEA Pay Schedule, Pay Range 32. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $30.55 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.

Office of Information Services

The Office of Information Services (OIS) works to support the business functions and the delivery of health, human, and employment services through the application of information technology. OIS supports the delivery of programs to millions of recipients through the development and round-the-clock operation of automated information systems. What You’ll Do

As an Identity and Access Management Information Technologist 2, you will support all internal and external users, including JFS users and County users. This position will act as a lead among a team of Information Technologists 1 by helping identify high priority or specialized service tickets. In this role you will interact with a wide variety of customers, departments, and teams.

Typical duties include but are not limited to\:

Assist users experience ID and Access problems and difficulties

Identify issues and enter tickets to appropriate departments for resolution

Identify potential fraud situations

Track status of active issues

Organize and prioritize tickets and ensure service level agreements are met

Compile results, summarize information, and report to management

Ensure best practices are followed, maintain proper documentation

Schedule\: Full-time

Hours\: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7\:00 a.m. and 6\:00 p.m.

Travel\: Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.
